Writer-director Ted Nicolaou began his career in entertainment as a singer-songwriter in the seminal Austin hippie band ?a title="http://www.greezywheels.com/craig.html" href="http://www.greezywheels.com/craig.html">Ramon & Ramon and the Four Daddyo’s.”?He sang his way through film school under the mentorship of Rod Whitaker, the shadowy novelist also known as Trevanian, writing and directing the Student Academy Award nominated SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY.  He came to Los Angeles and worked as a film editor, honing his craft on a dozen low-budget features.  He wrote and directed the cult comedy monster movie TERRORVISION.  With Charles Band’s Full Moon Entertainment, he created the atmospheric vampire series SUBSPECIES, the first American/Romanian co-production, shot on location in Transylvania, months after the 1989 revolution.  For Italian screen idol Terence Hill, he directed three episodes of the wacky spaghetti-western European TV series LUCKY LUKE. And for Moonbeam Entertainment and Paramount Home Video, he co-wrote and directed the home-video family hits REMOTE and DRAGONWORLD (Best International Children’s Film, 1994, Ruhr International Film Festival and Cinemagic Audience Best Feature Film Award, 1994, Northern Ireland International Film Festival), and the enchanted comedies, LEAPIN?LEPRECHAUNS and MAGIC IN THE MIRROR.   Recently, he has created a number of innovative DVD and Blu-ray documentaries for Walt Disney Home Entertainment.

Bill Sheehy






Director of Photography Bill Sheehy began his career as a still photographer while earning his bachelor of fine arts degree in film at Loyola Marymount University.  He was given an ASC award for outstanding student cinematography camisetas futbol upon graduation.  He honed his craft as a cinematographer while crewing on union and non union projects as a studio electrician and assistant cameraman.  He was a camisetas de futbol baratas gaffer on Roger camisetas de futbol Corman feature films such as School Spirit while shooting his own marketing and commercial projects.  His extensive work as a documentary cinematographer led to his being part of the academy award nominated project   Adam Clayton Powel.   His other DP credits include 9 TV camisetas futbol series and many pilots and commercials including Fox’s Mad TV, Showtime’s Fat Actress, Comedy Central’s So Notorious, and HBO’S Curb Your Enthusiasm.  Bill’s multi-faceted background and the use of new technologies in lighting and digital cinematography have contributed to his innovative, critically acclaimed style on Curb.

Artist and textile designer Katya Slive and dog-loving aesthetic home stager Becky Nicolaou took time out of their busy schedules on Becky’s birthday to feed our cast and crew with homemade pasta and Italian sausage from our most favorite deli in the world, Bay Cities Italian Deli on Lincoln Boulevard in Santa Monica.

The first round of The Club webisodes was shot in structured improvisations at the Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena and our friends Lynn and Big Boy Medlin’s garage in Venice, CA.  We thank all our collaborators for their generosity of time and talent.

Philip M.
